November 4 – December 6, 2021 CMW Show at the Paramount
Instructions for delivery at Paramount Center for the Arts show, Nov. 4, 2021
Please deliver your art to the Paramount lobby from 1:00 – 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 4th
Here are some tips to know before you deliver your art:
Remember to place your name, email and phone number on the back of each painting–this helps immensely when hanging the show and being able to contact you in case of a sale.
There can be no substitutions of the paintings because the website, promotional and communication materials need to match the paintings in the show.
All art is to be wired on the back, no sawtooth hangers! Ensure that the wire has some slack, but not enough to leave exposed wire above the painting when hung
A $5 fee is due at delivery if possible. Remember that there is a 40% commission on sales. It will be deducted by the Paramount .
There is no reception planned, but a docent/ brochure is in process. It should be ready at the start of the show or shortly after.
Show ends Monday, December 6th. Pick up times that day are 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm

CMW Meetings
Karen Knutson
The October Meeting was held at the Paramount and our guest demo artist was Karen Knutson.
This video presentation by Karen with instructions regarding the amazing crow painting/collage she painted at the meeting is on this website. Karen states that her consistent approach in her artwork is to design a light path in each painting. She uses a multi-media approach and you will see how she makes that meaningful in the final result.

November 8, 2021 CMW ZOOM MEETING
Demo Artist Tom Lynch
A Zoom link will be sent to your e-mail. Click on that link for social time beginning at 5:45 pm. A short meeting presided over by Kerry Kupferschmidt, CMW’s President, follows at 6:15 pm. Kerry will be announcing the President’s Challenge for February’s meeting, which keeps us busy painting through early winter. More details to come. Tom Lynch will then begin his demo.
Tom Lynch
Tom will focus on his “start to finish” Creative Process during the demo. He will be “live” using YouTube. He will record and send us the link for our group to be able to review his presentation afterward.
Each painting Tom creates can be seen as special. “I feel it’s the job of the artist to bring to the viewer the best of what can be found in the landscape along with a little creativity or exaggeration … normal and ordinary are not for me.”
Here are some examples of Tom’s art:
