Kerry Kupferschmidt, CMW’s President and member of Artists of Minnesota provides the following update on AOM Spring Show:
Registration will begin shortly for the “Art by the River” show and conference at Park Event Center May 20-22. The newsletter will be out, and website registration should be ready about March 14th.Learn more about Artists of Minnesota at: https://artistsofminnesota.org/. At this annual show there will be opportunities to meet artists from throughout the State, watch three demonstrations and participate in a tour or donate art created on site. CMW is sponsoring the show, so several of our members are volunteering their time to create a special event. Pat Undis will be the juror for awards, but it is an open show, so you won’t be competing to get in the show. There will be a banquet and awards ceremony on Saturday, May 21st. Demonstrators include Patricia Lintner, with an oil and cold wax demo and Duane Barnhart for watercolor. A wide range of media will be represented. After two postponements due to Covid-19, we are all looking forward to a great gathering of artists!
