An update about Covid Restrictions – CMW March 14th Membership Meeting – 6pm at the Para

Twedt-Batik Art by Arlette

The Paramount Center for the Arts recently changed it’s Covid-19 restrictions, due to the latest info from the CDC. For our Monday meeting, March 14th, the Paramount will not require proof of vaccination or a recent negative Covid test at the entrance. Masks continue to be highly recommended, but not required. You are encouraged to stay up to date with vaccinations. They still encourage mask wearing to protect higher risk individuals.

Please keep this in mind as you plan for our Monday meeting. We are looking forward to three short demos by our CMW artists!

Kerry –

t’s almost Spring…time to get out of the house!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for CMW’s March 14th meeting, 6pm, *Paramount Arts Center!

The Demo Artists will be familiar…three of our esteemed members…Mary Buhl, Kerry Kupferschmidt and Yvonne Schrank

Mary’s demo title is: A Color, A Paint, A Pigment–What’s the difference and why should I care?

Kerry’s is demoing creative techniques and fun possibilities for watercolor painting on Yupo.

Yvonne will present 7 different art supplies and demonstrate how to use them. They consist of egg tempura, woodie, liquid watercolor, water soluble crayons, water soluble blocks, watercolor on Yupo, and watercolor sticks with pastel accents.

It will be a fun night, it’s the first Monday after daylight’s savings time so it will stay light longer, and let’s face it…it was a long frigid winter and we are all really ready to get out and great and meet your Central Minnesota Watercolor Friends!

*The Paramount Center for the Arts requires proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, with photo ID, or negative COVID test result taken within 72 hours of the event. PCR or Antigen tests accepted. Home tests not accepted.
