Fall Retreat

The fall retreat was a great success. I have seen several paintings, and it looks
like it was inspirational Thanks to Claudia Forsberg for the planning.

Holiday Meeting December 8

The Holiday meeting is already in the planning stage.

Bringing original cards for a card exchange has been a favorite activity for many artists over the years. I hope to see you at the potluck on December 8th at Atonement church.

Urgent Business

As the new year begins, we will have our 501(c) (3) status, meaning we are tax exempt and eligible to pursue grants and donations. This will be very valuable for our future growth. Which reminds me that we continue our search for a new Treasurer. Recently the board decided to consider two volunteers for Ralph’s position, making it a smaller task for each. I hate to harp on this, but the Treasurer is vital to our mission!

Final Thoughts:

I made a new trek recently to Quarry Park, pursuing the colors before they fade. It’s a
fabulous place to hike. Whatever your inspiration, there will be many opportunities in
2026 to share your knowledge and your creations with the rest of us at CMW.
