Fall Painting Retreat
This is an opportunity to paint with other CMW members in a beautifully equipped, well-lit conference room with your own table and ample space to spread out. This has become a popular annual tradition, and we welcome all to join in the fun. The hospitality shown by the owners is fantastic, and the setting on the Sauk River is a plus.
Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.

Cost
The cost for three full days of painting and two nights at the motel is $278 if you would like to have a room to yourself and $153 per person if you would like to share a room with someone. A full continental breakfast is provided, and the coffee is always on. Each room has a mini fridge and a microwave. We bring snacks (and wine) to share, we have access to the commercial kitchen adjacent to the conference room, and we enjoy eating some meals out. There is also a tropical swimming pool and hot tub for us to enjoy as well!
Deadlines
We have reserved fourteen rooms and hope to fill all of them. Please sign up with Claudia Forsberg in person at the September 8th annual member meeting or email at [email protected] to let us know that you would like to participate. Be prepared to give a deposit payment of half your total amount due to Ralph Carpenter, CMW at the September 8th member meeting. Final payment will be due at the October 13th member meeting. Checks should be made payable to Central MN Watercolorists.
If you must cancel your participation, you will need to pay the full amount for your reservation unless the motel is able to rent out the room or another CMW member is willing to take your place.
