March 9th, 2026 | CMW Monthly Meeting – Demo by Logan Benson

An award winning artist, Logan Benson grew up in St. Cloud Minnesota. He joined the Army National Guard in 2004 as a Combat Engineer. His unit was deployed to Iraq in 2010, where he served as a Route Clearance Truck Commander responsible for finding and destroying improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Logan turned to art later in life as way to process memories from his time in Iraq. His artwork pays homage to the experience of veterans by depicting scenes that actually happened shown from the point of view of real American service-members. As he says it: “There is plenty of military themed artwork that looks like it came out of a Rambo movie. I want my pieces to reflect real experiences of US service members.”

Logan currently lives in Minnesota with his wife and two dogs. His artwork has been displayed and admired in exhibitions across the country.

Our meeting will be held at the Paramount Center for the Arts, lower level. 913 West St. Germain Street in St. Cloud starting at 5:30 for social time, meeting will start between 6:00-6:15 and the demo will begin at 6:30. Join us!
