Happy spring everyone,

I am hoping to see the sun again soon, so we have a real spring to celebrate. The recent rain should get everything growing quickly. For the time being, your art can provide everyone with the much-needed colors. A great example was provided by a vibrant display at the conclusion of the April 13^th meeting. Linda Addicott gave instructions, and everyone let loose with their imagination. Thank you Linda!

The CentraCare plaza display also provided plenty of color for our visitors to enjoy. Congratulation to Charlie Hopkins on his sale. That exhibit ended today, April 27^th. Shelly Chambers is showing at the CentraCare St. Joseph until the end of April.. Her samples are on her Facebook page.

As we transition to spring we have plenty to look forward to. You have until May 20

to upload your paintings for the Whitney show, to be hung on June 1^st. The spring retreat begins May 4^th at Riverside Inn in Cold Spring. I will be there, drinking in the camaraderie and painting.

The May 11^th meeting features a demo by Paul Oman, a member of NorthStar Watermedia with a lot of valuable information on technique and inspiration.
