CMW’s Annual September Meeting and Silent Sale is scheduled for Monday, September 12th, starting at 5:30 pm with social time, dinner at 6:00, followed by the business meeting, and Silent Sale results. It is being held once again at the beautiful Atonement Lutheran Church in St. Cloud which provides us with a clean, pleasant atmosphere, with ample space, and excellent kitchen accommodations for our “Potluck” and “Silent Sale”. There will be a Power Point presentation created by Kerry Kupferschmidt and Pat Spence. You can pick up a copy of the schedule for the upcoming year AND remember you can use this opportunity to renew your membership with Treasurer Ralph Carpenter for 2023. The cost is a mere $30 per year for all the many benefits CMW provides its members. Check out the Membership Section on this website…it spells it all out!
***Interested artists are welcome and invited to attend one CMW meeting prior to joining.
REMINDER: You also may register to participate and pay your $5 fee for the CentraCare Show this evening with Ralph if you haven’t already done so. So far registration is limited to the artists who were signed up last February when unfortunately the show was cancelled. If there are openings, President Kerry Kupferschmidt will let everyone know. The CentraCare Show is scheduled for October 3 through the 28th. CentraCare charges a 15% commission. Artists submit the price of your painting without sales tax. September 12th is the deadline to register with Ralph ralphcarp@gmail.com and September 19th is the deadline to get photo and information to Paula Tift paulatift@yahoo.com.
Yvonne Schrank and Barbara Rogan have the decorations set and the Board has door prizes to give out at the Annual Member Meeting. Remember to bring items you may have to donate to the Silent Sale and your dish to share. IMPORTANT NOTE: if by chance your Silent Sale items aren’t sold, PLEASE REMEMBER to take them back home with you and donate them elsewhere if you so wish!
